T4000 - A Decade of Innovation

April 2025 marks a significant milestone for Inner Range as we celebrate 10 years since the launch of the T4000 product family. First released in April 2015, the T4000 has grown from a single product into a versatile and trusted platform deployed in thousands of security systems across the globe. We're incredibly proud of what the T4000 range has achieved—and even more excited about what lies ahead.

A Decade of Technical Evolution

Over the past 10 years, the T4000 has evolved to support a wide range of wireless technologies, starting with 2G and 3G, and now fully embracing 4G LTE and 5G. This ongoing commitment to technological advancement ensures that T4000 devices remain at the forefront of connectivity and reliability.

We’ve expanded the T4000 family to suit a variety of customer needs and market segments, introducing multiple variants with each offers a tailored set of features designed to meet specific installation environments, performance requirements, and budget constraints.

Versatile Integration with Leading Alarm Panels

One of the standout strengths of the T4000 is its ability to interface with a wide range of alarm panels. Whether it’s basic event capture or high-level integration, the T4000 provides flexible connectivity options, including:

  • Dialler capture and CSV/IP support for universal compatibility

  • Inner Range Serial for advanced integration with Concept(legacy), Integriti, and Inception panels

    • On Inception systems, the T4000 can even enable remote web access via the SkyCommand website—even when the Inception has no direct internet access

  • High-level integration with Challenger and Paradox alarm panels

  • The ability to act as a generic Ademco685 receiver to capture and forward alarm events via MultipathIP.

  • Upload/Download functionality, emulating modem or serial connections for remote access by site integrators

These integration capabilities, combined with our data subscription model, allow customers to only pay for the data they use, offering both performance and cost efficiency.

Built-In Connectivity and Redundancy

Except for the Ultralite model, all T4000 variants provide the alarm panel with basic internet access via LTE. The T4000 Pro further enhances this by delivering high-speed internet access, perfect for sites requiring more robust remote communication.

Our devices are designed with redundancy in mind. Depending on the model, the T4000 supports:

  • Ethernet

  • Dual-SIM LTE for alternate telco connections

  • Wi-Fi

This multi-path communication ensures consistent and secure connectivity, while seamless integration with Inner Range’s cloud platforms—MultipathIP and SkyTunnel—offers end-to-end reliability and visibility.

A Global Footprint

Since its inception, the T4000 has been trusted by professionals in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Europe, and beyond. Its adaptability and resilience have made it a popular choice in diverse markets and challenging environments alike.

Looking Ahead

As we celebrate this 10-year milestone, we want to extend our sincere thanks to all our industry partners, integrators, and customers who have supported and trusted Inner Range and the T4000 throughout its journey. Your feedback and partnership have been instrumental in shaping the product into what it is today.

The T4000’s legacy is one of innovation, versatility, and dependability—and we’re just getting started.
