Inner Range has recently released its latest line of Commercial Grade motion detectors, designed to provide enhanced security for both residential and commercial applications.
These new detectors incorporate advanced technology to ensure reliable performance, minimize false alarms, and come “IR Ready” to connect seamlessly into the broader Inner Range ecosystem. The detectors are factory fitted with an End-of-line (EOL) resistor module that is specific to Inner Range systems to reduce complexity and time of the site installation. This module is easily removed to make the detectors compatible with any brand of security alarm system.
There are the three types of detectors in the range:
1. IR-D-P1: The IR-D-P1 is a commercial grade Passive Infrared Detector (PIR) that offers a flexible detection range of up to 15m.
2. IR-D-P2: The IR-D-P2 is a dual technology motion detector using both PIR and microwave sensors. These detectors have a detection range of up to 15m.
3. IR-D-P3E: The IR-D-P3E is a high-security tri-technology detector that combines microwave, PIR, and anti-masking technology. This detector is particularly suited for high-security applications where there is a risk of the detector’s field of view being obstructed. With a 15-meter detection range and customizable field of view, the IR-D-P3E ensures precise and reliable detection.
Quality of the Detectors
Inner Range's new PIR motion detectors are designed with quality and precision in mind. These detectors feature refined spherical lenses that eliminate distortion and ensure accurate detection. The incorporation of SMDA (Super Multi-Dimensional Analysis) technology enhances noise immunity, making the detectors resilient to environmental changes and reducing false alarms. Each detector comes with a rotating lens in the casing to alter the field of view, allowing for the selection of a wide of narrow detection area. They are equipped with a Human Catch Element, designed to create proper detection areas and optimize detection sensitivity. Additionally, the LED indicators are easily viewable, allowing for quick and straightforward status checks.
The construction of these detectors also emphasizes durability and reliability. By using high-quality materials and components, Inner Range ensures that the detectors can withstand various environmental conditions and continue to perform optimally over time.
Benefits to Integrators
For security integrators, these new motion detectors from Inner Range offer several significant benefits:
Ease of Installation: The IR Ready feature simplifies the installation process by including an EOL resistor module. This reduces installation time and effort, allowing integrators to deploy the system quickly and efficiently. The module is easily removable, making the detectors compatible with other various security systems.
Flexibility: With customizable detection ranges and field of view settings, integrators can tailor the detectors to meet the specific needs of different environments. This flexibility ensures that the detectors can be used in a wide range of applications, from small residential spaces to large commercial facilities.
Reliability: The advanced technologies used in these detectors, such as SMDA and anti-masking, provide integrators with confidence in the system's reliability. The reduced likelihood of false alarms and the ability to maintain high performance in changing environmental conditions are critical for ensuring the security system's effectiveness.
Seamless Connection with the Inner Range Ecosystem
One of the standout features of Inner Range’s new Commercial Grade motion detectors is their seamless connection into the broader Inner Range ecosystem. These detectors are designed to work in harmony with other Inner Range products, such as security controllers, cameras, and alarm systems. This interoperability allows for a cohesive security strategy where all components work together to provide comprehensive protection.
For instance, the IR-D-P3E’s anti-masking technology can trigger an alert to the security system if an attempt is made to obstruct the detector’s field of view. This alert can then activate cameras to record the incident and notify security personnel. Similarly, the human catch element feature ensures that cameras and alarms are only triggered by genuine security events, reducing unnecessary responses, and enhancing overall system efficiency.
The new Inner Range PIR motion detectors offer advanced technology, superior quality, and significant benefits for both integrators and end users. Their seamless integration into the Inner Range ecosystem ensures that they can be part of a robust and reliable security solution, providing enhanced protection for a wide range of environments.
