This flexibility allows custom automations to be created to meet the rigorous demands required by a unified video, access control and security system.
Automations in Inception
Configuration is done simply through the web-based dashboard for Inception. Users can set up Automated Actions by selecting from a range of trigger conditions, which can be applied individually or grouped for more complex automation. Triggers can be programmed to activate when a condition is true (e.g., a door opens) or false (e.g., a motion sensor detects no activity for a set period).
Easy to Create
Custom automations can drive actions from system events like:
When a specific user disarms the Intruder Security System it can create the automated actions such as: Notifying the monitoring centre, sending a push notification to a manager, or turning on the lights and air conditioning.
When an employee gains access to a door it can create the following actions: Turn on A/C for a pre-determined amount of time, turn on lights for a pre-determined amount of time, disarm the Intruder Security System, notify the monitoring centre, or send a push notification to a manager.
A double badge of the Janitors access card at a specific reader can create actions such as: unlocking all internal access doors within the building for a pre-determined amount of time
A triple badge of a user's access card at a specific reader can create the following actions: notifying a monitoring centre that the system is armed, arm the Intruder Security System for that building, turns off the lights and air conditioning
Automations can be triggered by specific inputs, such as a PIR motion sensor having been inactive for a pre-determined amount of time can trigger the lights and air conditioning to turn off.
